Traffic Project Manager
The selected candidate will have the ability to oversee projects in the public and private sectors, of varying size and complexity throughout the Northeast region, for the Transportation Planning Department.
Typical projects include the following elements:

• Traffic Impact Studies
• DOT Access Permitting
• Parking Studies
• Traffic Calming Design
• Conceptual Roadway Design
• Maintenance and Protection of Traffic Design
• Hearing Testimony

  Job Requirements  


• BS Civil Engineering
• 8-15 years•experience, preferable with Transportation Planning/Traffic Engineering experience
• Professional Engineer's License (NJ and/or PA) required, PTOE/PTP preferable
• Experience with NJDOT/PENNDOT/ITE/AASHTO standards/publications
• Must have experience using HCS/Synchro software
• Must have experience preparing Traffic Impact Studies and NJDOT/PENNDOT Permit applications
• Must have excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
• Must be able to present before clients and town boards
• Must be able to delegate work to junior staff
• Be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Must have experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation experience is a plus
• Experience managing and supervising the work efforts of assigned staff regarding scope, schedule, quality and budget of projects.
