Job Description

We are seeking a Service Manager for a position in Jefferson Hills, PA.

Job Duties:
- Establish and implement best practices for the Service department
- Enhance departmental policies and processes to ensure quality, timely, and cost effective work output
- Establish annual department budgets and goals
- Ensure proper follow-up to verify all issues are resolved timely and the customer is satisfied
- Proactively communicate with other departments and customers to ensure a harmonious work effort
- Utilizing service data and equipment knowledge to ensure the Service department has proper service inventory to provide fast customer response
- Create metrics and associated reports that evaluate department performance, including: response time, customer satisfaction and trending technical problems (to help guide product improvements)
- Manage, develop, and adjust staff levels and skill sets to meet business needs
- Continuously look for proactive ways to implement and improve the service experience for our customers
- Ensure all customer service interactions are documented and communicated to others as appropriate

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or physics
- 4 years supervisory experience
- 5 years of related work experience
- Strong management skills
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Strong technical comprehension skills
- Strong working knowledge of modern service practices
