Job Description


Prepare overall project and delivery schedules for projects and ensure timely delivery of documents and equipment (keep schedule life and up to date throughout the project) to the customer

Review and fully understand the PO we received, including the commercial conditions of the contract

Fully understand and interpret all project documents, specifications, and customer purchase orders;

Maintain and update regularly the forecasted cost of completion of the project and ensure that we will improve the margin over the as sold margin

Maintain a clear and professional communication with our customers, our vendors and internally, this include as a minimum an acknowledgement of emails or phone calls/ voice messages within 24 hours

In short take full ownership of the projects assigned to you

Sizing and selection of equipment in accordance with specification; negotiate best prices with our vendors;

Provide equipment, layouts, and arrangement concepts of systems and check the drawings provided by the design team;

Assure all technical documentation, including P&ID’s, sequence of operation, equipment drawings, GA drawings, electrical wiring diagrams, specification sheets, and manuals are complete and meet the customer’s requirements;

Make recommendations to the customer to create change orders;

Keep project files organized according to the filing system at all times;

Resolve all customer complaints related to assigned projects in a timely and cost-effective manner;

Provide sales support and project feedback as required;

Provide start-up services for assigned projects;

Travel as required to vendor and customer locations;

Job Requirements

BS Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering--related field may be considered

7+ years of related experience and/or training in ideally with pneumatic conveying, material handling, conveyor systems, extrusion equipment systems and/or dedusting systems

3+ experience of managing projects from conception to completion

Ability to read, interpret, and develop documents such as purchase orders, contracts, specifications, engineering reports, blueprints, office procedures, parts lists, and price book;

Ability to write routine correspondence;

Speak effectively, both one-on-one and in groups with vendors, customers, and employees.

Experience with SAP will be a plus
