Job Description

Our client in West Palm Beach is looking for a Reinsurance Associate who will be responsible for working closely with the members of the Reinsurance Team to perform detailed process and procedure reviews that ensures the review accuracy of the data through application and understanding of the industry and business landscape. This position will require the skills necessary for problem solving and reviewing more complex analysis using cutting edge analytical/statistical methods. This position reports to the Accounting and Reinsurance Manager in the West Palm Beach, Florida location. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to be a proactive team player with a focus on customer service and able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential Duties and responsibilities:

•Assist in preparation of monthly reinsurance reviews by preparing data in Excel
•Analyze information from the contract management system in excel for accuracy
•Create monthly cessions and letters for all CFC's
•Audit and confirm quota shares by dealer and product
•Preparation of internal reports for management
•Reporting of bank accounts to clients
•Calculate surplus for clients
•Assist with quarterly reporting package for clients
•Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential at all times
•Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate well with internal employees and external stakeholders when appropriate
•Must be highly organized, detail oriented and have advanced skillsets in Microsoft Office products and advanced Excel experience
•Consistent follow-through and ability and flexibility to multi-task
and effectively balance priorities and meet tight deadlines
•Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from director and managers
•Exceptional customer service and people skills
•Superior problem-solving ability and ability to work with minimal supervision while exercising sound and independent judgment
•Must be able to sit for long periods of time, bend, stoop and lift to 25 lbs.
•No travel requirements for this position

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

•Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor preferred
•3 years of experience working in a professional service environment
•Must have strong analytical skills
•Proficiency using MS Office products
•Advanced Excel skills required
•Knowledge on writing Macros required and Visual Basic (VBA) preferred
•Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is required
•Must possess excellent English communication
skills with the ability to speak and write clearly and informatively and able to read and interpret
information
•Must be flexible for overtime
•Must clear a background check and drug test
for it will be required for this position
