Work for a Central New Jersey area company that develops sample solutions for beauty industry.Quality Control Production Team Leader:Job Purpose:Responsible for the shift in regards to overseeing the other 4 inspectors, be able to utilize our MRP system and other customer systems for job preparation, trouble shoot, investigate, resolve nonconformance’s. Essential Functions:1.Manage and analyze all components bulk & raw material demands in order to support production demands in multiple company facilities in a cost effective manner.2.Responsible for effective vendor management by obtaining requisitions, placing of purchase orders, tracking inbound materials, monitoring delivery and resolving any discrepancies to ensure that the all components & raw materials are available in a timely manner to support production. This includes scheduling vendor conference calls, receipts verification & follow-up on A/P issues.3.Partner effectively with Customer Project Management group, warehouse and other departments as needed to support and execute the production plan. 4.Effectively use the Monarch system for demand analysis, PO placement, updating specifications, BOM analysis and general problem solving.5.Partner with QA team as needed to certify new materials, obtain relevant documentation and proactively resolve quality issues.Additional Responsibilities:1.Other duties, as assigned.
