Job Description

Position: Quality Assurance Analyst
Location: Allentown, PA

As our client's QA Analyst your IT knowledge will be useful as you partner with Software QA Tester to understand and clarify User Requirements in order to validate system changes. The scope ranges from minor enhancements to major projects. Requirements may be specific to products or applications and will be targeting production releases. Leadership qualities will be useful as you lead small projects and engage with Business Analysts and Clients towards meeting their requirements and broadening their exposure to our applications and solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Lead small projects which may involve one or more applications for varied clients
• Facilitate meetings for internal and external resources related to testing results and/or production issues
• Manages release content for Business Solutions or Customer Service team and coordinates releases with Business Analysts and/or internal release management engineers
• Communicates and escalates any issues to Senior QA Analyst
• All QA Analyst Testing functions
• Creation and execution of mentoring and training program for Software QA Tester

Job Requirements


• Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent professional experience
• Ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of business analysis or quality assurance experience
• Experience with insurance policy administration systems, processes, and procedures is a plus
• Understands policy administration, illustration and online enrollment concepts is a plus
• Knowledge of testing, testing methodologies and disciplines
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and corresponding documentation across application suite.
• Experience with data warehousing, Crystal Reports and the Software Development Life Cycle
• Flexible to meet changing needs and demands of internal and external clients
• Clear, effective oral and written communication skills
• Resourcefulness and ability to take the initiative in completion of work projects
• Ability to work with limited supervision
