Job Description

Position: Project Scheduler
Location: Princeton, NJ

Our client is seeking a temporary Project Scheduler to assist a Project Controls and Planning Manager in all aspects of scheduling for complex engineering projects. This is a six-month position with an option to renew for another six months.

The Project Scheduler will:
• Develop and maintain an integrated, resource-loaded project schedule by working with technical team leads to determine critical tasks, identify contractual milestones, and associate interdependencies across the project.
• Input schedule, status and maintain project schedules and provide timely reports to management
• Support project change control and associated schedules

Other responsibilities include:
• Developing schedule reports
• Reporting on the status of the schedule
• Assisting with support of baseline reviews from internal and external agencies
• Assisting in Earned Value Management (EVM) project reporting.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+ Years experience in project management / scheduling
• Strong working knowledge and proven experience in project scheduling
• Ability to manage complex engineering, fabrication, implementation and testing schedule tasks in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability in use of Primavera P6
• Experience with Department of Energy O 413.3B procedures is a plus
• Demonstrated teaming skills, including ability to work effectively with peers, other organizations, project sponsors, program stakeholders and suppliers
