Job Description

Our client, located in Miami, is looking for a Pneumatics Technician to perform high level testing, inspection, quoting, maintenance, preventative maintenance and rework on various types of A/C pneumatic accessories to include:

•Responsible for assigning, and assuring Pneumatic/Transmissions shop's production obligations within required TAT's and Cost, while maintaining the expected quality standard.
•Able to support the operations director with required shop responsibilities, productivity goals, process improvements and/ or delegate his own to subordinates, while preserving the shop environment.
•Manages, reviews /approves Technician work shift hours and time off, while assuring WO labor hours are equally accounted for.
•Evaluates technicity levels of team members, in relation to the assignments /work flow and makes adjustments for maximum efficiency.
•Works closely with Engineering to improve/modify existing capabilities and/or test stands/equipment.
•Performs and/or oversees the necessary technical training program to the required shop team members and assigns specialized training.
•Performs testing, inspection, quoting, maintenance, preventative maintenance and rework on various types of A/C pneumatic accessories to include but not limited to, Thrust Reverser CDU's, Press. Reg./ Flow Control/ Cabin Press. Safety/ Trim/ Anti-Ice/ Starter Valves, Controllers, Pne Starters, ACM's, while keeping in line with the respective CMM, SPM, SB/AD, EO, Airline Tech. Document, or other OEM Tech. Data.

Qualifications

•10 years of component repair in Pneumatics
•A & P, Repairman's Certificate, FCC Lic., preferable but not mandatory.
•Extensive experience in pneumatic accessory disassembly/ inspect/ assembly/ test.
•Well versed in calibrating and troubleshooting all pneumatic accessories, (Vlvs/ACMs/Strt's).
•Possess a good working knowledge of AC/ DC.
•Has all necessary hand tools, special tools and precision calibration equipment.
•Is able to read, write and speak English clearly/professionally.
