Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for a position in Natrona Heights, PA.

Job Duties:
- Embrace and participate in safety culture, always keeping Safety as the #1 priority. Conform to and follow all safety rules, production, and quality directives. Maintain cleanliness of work area to meet company standards.
- The incumbent is responsible to safely troubleshoot and repair all plant and building equipment, as assigned; such as machinery, fork lifts, cranes, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, etc. The repairs may be mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic or electronic.
- Follow established repair priorities and may assist in the troubleshooting of problems.
- May be involved in carpentry, plumbing, or cement repairs, dependent on the magnitude of the repair required.
- Assist in equipment installations, hook ups and building renovations.
- Inspect, operate or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
- Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools.
- Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determines how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
- Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.
- Ability to become forklift certified and maintain certification, as well as consistently operate forklift in a safe, efficient manner.
- Safely off loads incoming supplies, material, etc. and notifies recipient of arrival. Safety loads outgoing product, etc.
- Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.
- Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter.
- Safely build crates, pack the parts and ship to the customer in a timely, accurate manner consistent with customer requirements.
- Maintain storage area in a clean, organized manner.
- Perform daily fork truck inspections.
- Perform other duties and assignments, as deemed necessary, to support business and operational needs.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:
- 2-year mechanical degree/technical school or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in the manufacturing industry strongly preferred.
- HVAC training or certification required.
- Safety and quality minded.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Attention to detail, adaptable and dependable with a positive attitude.
- Collaborative; ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization.
- Self‐starter, demonstrates initiative, hard working.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in the tool and die industry.
