Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Millwright for a position in the Donora, PA area.

The Maintenance Millwright is responsible for the general maintenance of the facilities and equipment that is conducive to safe and efficient manufacturing. Millwright will install, commission, dismantle, overhaul, and troubleshoot equipment using hand and power tools. Fabricate new custom components using lathe, milling machines, welding machines and grinders. Maintain clean, safe, orderly work environment. Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. May be used in general utility capacity as needed. Work alone and in groups under immediate supervision.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
Follow all standard operating procedures regarding equipment and manufacturing of product, maintain and complete all paperwork, maintain area housekeeping and safety equipment.
Troubleshoot defective or under performing systems or machinery. Perform preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs or rebuilds, metal fabricating and welding. Maintain electrical components, combustion systems, heating/air conditioning, power transmission equipment, belt conveyors, augers, mechanical mixers, air compressors, blowers, Industrial gas burners, and dry bulk silos. Perform general mechanical repairs, plumbing and basic electrical maintenance and repairs. Maintain spare parts and maintenance supply inventories.

  Job Requirements  

A high school diploma. Proficient mechanical aptitude. Knowledge of machinery installation, maintenance and repair. Basic industrial electrical, electronic and control knowledge. Read and work from drawings, blue prints and schematics. Repair and fabrication welding and cutting skills. Good understanding of fluid mechanics (hydraulics and pneumatics). Working knowledge of precision tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, levels gauge blocks, etc.. Previous manufacturing maintenance, forklift or other related experience.
