Job Description

Premiere manufacturing company in Newtown/Yardley PA area has an immediate need for a Machinist Helper:

Shift: 7:00-3:30 pm (1st shift)
Salary: $15-16/hr

General Job
-Responsible for completing the daily production schedule for deburring, sandblasting, cleaning, phosphatizing, and paint preparation of various components and achieving all required quality standards.
-Responsible for performing limited prime and finish painting of components.
-This position will require daily interaction with other departments.
-Will be required to provide assistance in the Maintenance and Assembly Departments as needed.
-Will be required to perform other production work as needed to support business demands.

Job Requirements

-High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent is required as well as a strong mechanical aptitude.
Experience &
-Perform deburring, sand blasting, cleaning, phosphatizing and paint preparation for a variety of components.
-Limited set-up and operation of all paint application equipment as needed for the purpose of prime and finish painting of actuators and various sub-components.
-Perform inspections to ensure quality of own work.
-Promote and ensure a safe working environment by demonstrating consistent adherence to safety policies.
-Work overtime as needed when business demands require.
-Must be able to precisely follow written and oral instruction.
-Excellent attention to detail and commitment to outstanding quality.
-Proven professional qualities including strong initiative, integrity, safety minded, and posses the desire/ ability to work in a team environment.
-Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with others.
-Must be able to work second shift as required.

-Must be capable of standing for extended periods of time.
-Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
-Work environment includes regular exposure to manufacturing areas that require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and respirators
