Job Description

Responsibilities:

•Greet prospective residents and provide detailed community tours.
•Process new applications and lease renewals.
•Prepare renewal letters and maintain a monthly renewal log to closely monitor occupancy.
•Organize and maintain resident files per company procedure.
•Prepare incident reports and follow up in accordance to the direction of the Community Operations Manager.
•Handle signing of leases, walking apartments for move ins and show-able units.
•Assist new residents during the move-in process
•Explain lease agreement, community rules, location of amenities, and a walk through of their new home at time of moving in.
•Work with the maintenance department to handle apartment turnovers, move-ins, and work order requests and assist in maintaining the cleanliness of show-able units and tour routes including grounds and common areas.
•Physically inspects the community when on grounds, picks up litter and report any maintenance needs to the team.
•Play a key role in resolving resident concerns and issues.
•Handle clerical and reception responsibilities as designated by the Community Operations Manager.
•The successful candidate must have strong organizational abilities, follow-up skills, and an attention to detail that often makes the difference with prospective and current residents.
•Assist with shopping competitive properties. Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property, sister properties, and competitors.
•Assist Community Manager in developing and implementing effective marketing goals to increase traffic and leads.
•Assist in the preparation of newsletters, market surveys, and resident activities. Attend all assigned resident activities.
•Assist with innovative strategies that build positive buzz and key connections with current residents and prospects.
•Support efforts to partner with nearby businesses, events, and other local organizations.
•Help create engaging social media initiatives to connect residents, and manage posts.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

•Must be able to multi-task and adapt to changing schedules that will include some weekends and holidays.
•Develop and maintain first class customer service relationships with prospects and residents.
•Maintain relationships with all apartment locator services and local businesses to provide informational material. Update periodically.
