Job Description

Lead GibbsCAM Programmer

Responsibilities:

Tasked with programming complex and prototype parts using Virtual GibbsCAM software

Create programs for 3, 4 and 5 axis machining centers using GibbsCAM

Work directly with engineering staff and upper-management to solve programming issues, while also assisting other programmers and machinists in setting-up and first run parts

Ensure continuation of an exceptional level of quality and the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System in cooperation with the Quality Manager

Analyze manufacturing processes for continued improvement -- develop and implement best practices to ensure they are well documented

Strive to constantly expand manufacturing capability in coordination with the production and the engineering team

Improve operational efficiency as measured by output and delivery dates

Job Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering -- an AS degree in M.E will also be considered

5+ years of experience programming with GibbsCAM and must have extensive experience operating/programming CNC Vertical Mills

7+ years of experience in a technical manufacturing field

Previous hands-on leadership within a CNC machining/manufacturing environment

Must have AS9100 quality management system experience
