We are seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Technician for a new office in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Our focus is to design, install, and optimize control systems for a wide variety of clients allowing us to focus on providing the best control systems possible, because that's what we do every day.

Technicians will perform testing, installation, maintenance and repair of electronic and electrical control systems. Ability to troubleshoot 4-20 mA loops and digital 24 VDC / 120 VAC circuits. Ability to go online with PLCs for diagnostics and troubleshooting. Ability to calibrate instrumentation is a plus. You�ll service a wide array of clients in numerous environments. Candidates must be prepared to work safely and efficiently, meeting our requirements and those of our customers in a variety of work situations. Most of our business is from repeat clients, making positive client interaction a key to our success; each employee is accountable for maintaining that success through positive client relationships and quality workmanship.

A background in SCADA systems, PLC / HMI programming and instrumentation is especially valuable. Desirable skills/training would include:

- Allen-Bradley PLCs
- RS Logix 500/5000
- Fundamentals of Electricity
- Process Control and Automation
- Instrumentation and Calibration

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are conditions of employment. This position requires travel to customer locations, many of which are local to the Fredericksburg area, but occasional travel out of town, and out of state will be necessary. Candidates must be able to lift weights up to 50 pounds.

All candidates must meet at least one of these requirements:

- Must be a US citizen or US Permanent Resident; or

- Must meet the requirements for nonimmigrant NAFTA Professionals.
