Position: Infrastructure Project Manager
Location: Easton, PA

The Infrastructure Project Manager will interact with senior executives, business partners, major stakeholders, and work closely with IT resources, technical service teams and vendors in ensuring that the project is delivered successfully. This position will report to the IT Director. Advanced communication skills and substantial experience working with vendor management are required.


• The successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running, must be a self-starter, energetic and have a passion for Project Management. The candidate must manage a portfolio of projects valued up to and, at times, above $1.5 Million.

• Plan, organize, and coordinate the project life cycle for technology infrastructure projects, including large scale operating system deployments, server, communication, storage, and network technology life cycle management.
• Lead infrastructure projects from initiation through implementation including phases such as planning, execution, monitoring/controlling, and close-out.
• Lead and apply Continuous Improvement frameworks and methodologies to meet the various infrastructure service areas
• Establish project requirements, priorities, and deadlines.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS (include but are not limited to):

• Understand and communicate with technical resources and teams regarding IT Infrastructure hardware, software, and services, including data center and networking interdependency.
• Manage IT projects for large scale global operating system deployments, data migrations, full hardware/software stack and infrastructure application upgrades implementations.
• Develop and execute project management plans and schedule, manage risks and mitigation plans, manage budget, influence quality, manage stakeholder expectation, manage investigations and resolutions as required and ensure prudent use of resources toward project benefits realization
• Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to clearly establish project scope, define roles and responsibilities, clearly understand the resources availability and back-fill plan as required
• Serves as primary liaison between client stakeholders, user groups, and the project team
• Assist project team in design and development tasks.
• Lead assembly of proposals based on business needs
• Work with procurement team to generate quotes and present to client
• Design and maintain technical and project documentation
• Conduct effective project meetings with clear agenda and action items and follow up all action items
• Design and conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results, and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner
• Ensure project is completed in accordance with all technology risk, architecture, and other relevant enterprise-wide guidelines.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables
• Provide analytical guidance to the project team
• Organize and direct change management activities in adherence with corporate guidelines
• Follow and execute appropriate PMO project life-cycle management standards (i.e. PMBOK, Agile, SDLC, Waterfall) and the ability to leverage other continuous process improvement methodologies and frameworks (i.e. Lean Six Sigma, ITIL, etc.)
• Responsible for communication and change management plans, progress tracking/monitoring, escalation.
• Recommend and take action to direct the analyses and solution to problems
• Monitor and provide feedback to management on employee performance on the project, ensuring the team follows change management procedures.


• Improve customer perception and satisfaction.
• Escalate project issues that cannot be completed within agreed service levels or project delivery schedule.
• Communicate with IT Director, customers and key stakeholders on project progress, impending changes, agreed outages, etc.
• Maintain and document specific knowledge on our existing and new services and offerings as they relate to internal business strategies and goals by working closely with IT Lead System Admin.
• Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities.
• Assists the IT Service Managers in establishing, planning, and administering the overall policies and goals for their respective IT Service Departments.
• Reconciles consultants' statements of work, time sheets, and invoices.

  Job Requirements  


• 10+ years of IT Enterprise projects/program and vendor management experience
• Experience with IT infrastructure related projects is a big plus though extensive hands-on technical expertise is not required
• Extensive experience leading high-visibility, top-tier projects or programs
• Proven organizational skills to multi-task and manage cross-functional teams
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with audiences of all levels
• Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail and quality
• Ability to proactively manage risk and influence others
• Superior negotiating and problem-solving skills
• Capability to develop and present succinct status summaries and reports for various stakeholders
• Must have hands-on expertise with Project Management Software.
• Excellent relationship and team building skills
• Ability to develop a change leadership strategy based on situational awareness of the changes and groups impacted
• Ability to develop, lead and execute change management and communication plans.
• Ability to identify potential risks and issues and anticipate points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns
• Ability to close out, document and transition project deliverables into the appropriate run and sustain IT organization
• PMP, Lean Six Sigma, ITIL or other related certifications strongly preferred
• Travel may be required (10-20%) based on assigned project needs.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
