Job Description

HR Assistant I

Conduct Hiring Events, perform drug test and initiate background screenings for all new hires. Present New Hire Presentation to contingent associates.

Required skills:

Good communication skills, ability to present to an audience of 30 or more continuously. Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint skills.

Team is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to help with the onboarding of candidates in the delivery stations. Former experience is a huge plus!!


This resource will rotate work sites (there are two locations); there will be a set schedule indicating which site the resource will need to work from.

Working at the Delivery stations greeting newly hired employees and helping with onboarding/drug screening.

Will meet with all of the newly on boarded team members who are supporting center.

Will need provide powerpoint presentations and will be responsible for engaging associates.

Administer drug tests (saliva) walking new hires through how to do it etc.

Facilitating room with kits and responsible for sending off drug tests via FedEx

Great Candidates will be:

Someone that has worked in staffing/job fair or career fairs -great presentation skills -friendly, pleasant demeanor

Soft skills

Personable, articulate

Know how to handle difficult situations; know how to handle disruptions -CUSTOMER DRIVEN as this person will be the first face for new hires -passionate about being helpful, keep positive attitude because they will be doing it over and over.

Work independently- mostly hosting events by themselves.

Will work at delivery station

Travel to offsite locations

Needs to be trustworthy, show up on time -prompt, reliable, professional, dress code is casual

Need flexibility to work weekends/after hours to accommodate hiring event needs (after hour schedules could be 11-7pm or 12-8pm; weekend shifts vary, not frequent) -Commitment and a good sense of responsibility are important here
