Job Description

Position involves coordinating and managing all aspects of geotechnical investigation, engineering, and inspection including field investigation; geotechnical laboratory analyses; evaluation/calculation of pertinent geotechnical parameters; evaluation of foundation types and design parameters; report preparation; and construction phase inspection and consultation. Position requires Professional Engineer license and 7+ years experience and proficiency in client interaction, proposal preparation, regulatory negotiation, staff management and development, and technical writing and communication.

Key Job Functions:

Field supervision of soil borings, test pits, and construction earthwork.
Preliminary geotechnical laboratory analysis.
Boring layout and subcontractor coordination.
Proposal and report preparation.
Seasonal high groundwater evaluation

  Job Requirements  

BS or MS in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, PE Preferred
