Job Description

Provides functional testing services, repair and inspection of fire detection systems


Performs installation, programming, repair, testing, and inspection of fire detection and signaling systems

Expected to render all services in accordance with manufacturer instructions, related codes/standards and Company policies and procedures.

Responsible for scheduling inspections with customers, as required.

Provides all necessary documentation for Company records, customer records, the authority having jurisdiction and any other entity as required.

Communicates discrepancies, necessary system repairs and other important issues to the Company and the customer.

Follows up to ensure that suggested repairs to systems are performed.

Markets EFI services to existing and potential customers.

Expected to keep our word 100% of the time and work every day until our obligations are met, which may result in overtime.

Performs administrative duties as necessary, i.e., completing timesheets, time and material reports, and other reports related to the performance of duties and responsibilities.

Responsible for completing continuing education necessary to maintain current certifications and/or licenses as required for position.

  Job Requirements  


High School diploma or equivalent required

2+ years of experience in fire protection systems

Must have a commercial background installing, servicing and performing maintenance on fire protection systems

Minimum Level I NICET certification in desired field required (or the ability to obtain Level I within the first 18 months of employment) or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Sprinkler and Special Hazard experience a plus
