Job Description

A prominent engineering firm is seeking an individual who will be responsible for managing environmental projects that involve everything from field studies, report preparation, budget management, and interaction with coworkers, clients, subcontractors, and regulators.

This candidate will also be responsible for developing new business and maintaining current business relationships.

Projects will include groundwater, surface water, soil, and air sampling; environmental site assessments; regulatory permitting; subsurface site characterizations involving drilling, soil classification, aquifer testing, and bedrock mapping; remediation; and treatment system operation, maintenance, and monitoring.

Job Requirements


Bachelor's Degree (minimum) in Geology, Environmental Science, or similar earth science, and a minimum of 5 years of environmental project experience, including project management, proposal writing, client contact, and regulatory interaction.

Environmental field monitoring / sampling experience using various methods and equipment (groundwater, surface water, soil, air)

Strong field technical experience including but not limited to drilling and well installation experience using various drilling methods; treatment system operation, maintenance, and monitoring experience

Preferred but not required: North Carolina PG or equivalent licensure
