Job Description:

- Reads and interprets Process Sheet to determine sequence of secondary production processes.
- Reads blue prints to determine dimensions and tolerances of machined parts.
- Reads and interprets work order/traveler to determine sequence of operations and requirements.
- Uses and operates most hand tools and equipment necessary to perform to job.
- Verifies conformance and dimensions of precision parts to specifications using micrometer, caliper, or other specified equipment.
- Responsible for manufacturing of the Nitinol tube using various equipment, such as draw benches, bull blocks, pedestal grinders, annealing furnaces, pointers, mandrel insertion station, centerless grinder, swaggers etc
- Maintains lot trace ability, work orders/travelers, and good housekeeping practices at all times.
- May confer with shop lead and production personnel to resolve machining problems.
- Incumbent must have the ability to arrive at work on time, maintain good attendance, follow directions from department managers, supervisors, and leads, interact effectively with coworkers, as well as understand and follow work rules and responsibilities.

•**1st/2nd Shift***

1st shift: 5am-1:30pm
2nd Shift- 1:30pm - 10:00pm

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

- High School Diploma
- 1-3 years of manufacturing or maching work experience strongly preferred
- Able to use hand tools including harperizer, micro blaster, micrometers, optical comparator and other related equipment
- Ability to use both hands in a semi-repetitive motion for up to 7/8 hours per day
- Able to lift 20+ pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
