Job Description

We have a client located in New Kensington PA seeking a Corporate Planning Analyst

Job Duties:

- Prepares several month-end sales and inventory related reports for various teams within the organization and performs an analytical review of results
- Develops and enhances existing planning tools to facilitate analysis of business by category and item
- Works with inventory planning function for inventory management and forecasting of inline items
- Provides regular analysis and updates for inventory monitoring and strategy making
- Improves new product inventory purchase process and quantifies first purchase need
- Collaborates with Product Development team on projecting new product sales
- Works with Product Development team to drive product expansion initiatives as well as changes in product portfolio
- Provides after launch performance review and monitors new product sales forecast accuracy
- Builds new and modifies existing reports using BI tools
- Works closely with finance group on budget estimates and revenue forecasts
- Works on ad hoc projects for executives and provides analysis for decision making
- Initiates and recommends alternative approaches to enhance system performance
- Determines and evaluates sales/margin analysis and trends of products/categories
- Performs other duties as assigned

  Job Requirements  

Requirements:

- Bachelor's in Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain, or related field required
- P&L experience required
- 2+ years experience in SAS and data mining analysis
- Expert user in Excel (Pivot tables) and Access
- Experience using BI tools
