Job Description

Our client is looking for a Cisco TelePresence Engineer for a one-week project.

The tasks required include:
1. Updating software releases as needed to ensure the Communications Servers are at current release.
2. Configuring the VCS Expressway to accept calls only from the CenturyLink MCU bridge(s). Exclude all other Internet sources.
3. Ensuring that only the Expressway Server communicates with outside IP devices on the Public Internet.
4. Ensuring that only the Expressway Server communicates with the VCS Control Server on the Agency network such that the Control Server and VTC room systems are hidden from the Internet.
5. Ensuring that all 48 Agency room systems communicate only with devices internal to the Agency network. This includes the Control Server, the Resource Manager Appliance and the Tandberg Management Appliance.
6. Providing operational orientation to on-premise support staff so they have familiarity with the setup.
7. Ensuring compliance with Government security practices.
8. Recommending configuration changes such as use of SIP that enable future compatibility with Skype for Business and/or WebEx.

Job Requirements

• Cisco TelePresence experience is required
• Cisco TelePresence Solutions Specialist (CTSS) certification (Exam Number 700-070 IX5K) is a plus, as is CCNA.
