Job Description

Our client is a science-driven contract development and manufacturing organization providing services to the global pharmaceutical industry, and they are a leader in pharmaceutical product development. They are currently seeking THREE Aseptic Filling Technicians.

The Aseptic Filling Technician's responsibilities include the following:

• Oversees and assists with the set-up, filling, stoppering processes of the aseptic filling lines by aseptically connecting sterile equipment (i.e. filters, hoses, and fitting)
• Checks all equipment, components and procedures against batch records
• Feeds glass onto turntable while keeping up with production demands

• Stopper Operations: Loads hopper, observes and assists in operations, stopper tracking bowl and transfer of stoppers to Class 100 area from racks
• Trayer Operations: Runs trayer, cleans fallen vials, resets water overtorques, keeps up with filling operations and removal of trays from trayer and transferring to flow carts
• Fill Check Operations: Monitors fill volumes throughout fill, places monitoring plates, assists senior technician in measurement of tailings and batch record completion, completes freeze dryer load sheets plus all other appropriate documentation, and monitors and performs filtration operations
• Cleaning Operations: Include a removal of all equipment, sanitizes room, removes tailings from area and properly disposes contaminated items

• Loads filled product into freeze driers and properly documents tray location, thermal couple placement, and coordination with lyophilization department
• Ensures that all machinery and equipment is in proper and safe working order

  Job Requirements  

•Minimum of an associate degree, but 4-year bachelors degree in science preferred for advancement opportunities
• Must comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions, including but not limited to cGMP's, SOP's, Batch Records, policies and procedures
• One year of Sterile Filling experience required with a thorough understanding of cGMP regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including project planning techniques and software

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus excellent interpersonal skills required
• Thorough knowledge of requirements of aseptic environments
• Must be able to handle material up to 50-60 pounds
