Admissions Representative

Overview:

To provide perspective students with information associated with attending the school. Conduct follow up with prospective students. Provide prospective students a tour of the facility. Evaluate prospective students' ability to successfully complete their selected program of study. Provide prospective students with information on payment options forms. Complete all applicable enrollment forms. Serve as an administrative assistant to the School Director. Perform marketing duties.

School inquires

Enter prospects information in student lead area of computer.

Set appointment for prospect to pick up school catalog and consumer information, tour the facility and undergo an entrance interview.

Alternative-mail school catalog and any other desired information to prospective student.

Follow up with periodic contact (email, telephone, U.S. mail) to arrange an appointment.

Respond to all web based and telephone inquiries.

Maintain an organized filing system of student leads and applications.

Continually attempt to contact 'old' leads

Follow directive and training provide by the school

Always remain honest and truthful.

Interview appointment

Be friendly and try to make prospect feel comfortable.

Answer any specific questions the prospect may have.

Ask prospect to complete application for admission

Check for proper completion of application

All spaces should be filled. If a question does not apply have prospect place a dash on N/A in that area

Verify that applicant meets the schools entrance requirements

Education and Age - collect copy of verifying document

Conduct a complete tour of the facility.

Conduct Power point presentation.

Give details concerning subjects covered in the program, student level progression, attendance requirements, and progress

Complete in house retail contract if applicable, provide copy to enrollee.

Inform enrollee of first day procedures

Take photo of enrollee for time badge and student file.

Update enrollee in computer

Gather all documents and immediately forward them to the business office upon the exit of the enrollee.

Contract, Financial worksheet, Uniform sheet, Age verification, education verification, F.A. documents, Checklist and any other applicable documents.

Copying and binding of documents

Basic filing

Assistant to the school Director

Scheduling

Typing

Copying

Maintain cleanliness of admissions office

Visitation - recruiting

Participate in career fairs

Visit area High Schools throughout the school year

Visit department of labor locations.

Marketing

Maintain and develop a variety of forms of social media and electronic marking to aid in the positive and professional promotion of the school, the schools programs of study and the school's laboratory

Meet and consult with advertising representatives from various mediums. Present suggestions and consult with the school Director regarding promotional and advertising opportunities.

Requirements

Schedule

40 hours per week.

Scheduled office hours of Monday & Friday from 9 am to 4 pm,

Tuesday 9am - 7 pm, Wednesday 9 am to 6 pm, Thursday 9am to 5pm. Schedule may be alter to accommodate new student orientation, events, needs of prospective students and other school related functions

Must be in attendance for all 'new' student orientations.
