Summary - Accounts Receivable Clerk

The main role of the accounts receivable clerk is to ensure that their company or organization receives payments for goods and services and properly records the transactions. The duties and responsibilities of this position require attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills.

Job Duties:

-Accurate inputting and processing of vendor invoice across multiple companies
-Managing intercompany services and payment.
-Open mail and separate, deposit into bank by scanning
-Process credit cards
-Process and post all wires for all companies
-Record daily cash receipts
-Maintain/Monitor customer database, credit limits and credit rating
-Contact customer daily regarding outstanding past due balances
-Resolve discrepancies related to invoices, misapplied cash and claims
-Work interactively with management/sales to resolve customer issues
-Send monthly statements for all divisions
-Create ad-hoc reports
-Performs other related duties as required and requested

  Job Requirements  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

-Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours
-Must have a solid work ethic, and excellent interpersonal skills,
-Excellent customer service skills
-Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadline, and manage changing priorities
-Ability to communicate effectively verbally and via email
-Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Education/Experience:

-High school diploma or GED certificate
-Minimum 3 years•experience in accounts receivable
-Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
-Fluency in oral and written English
