Summary - Accounts Payable Clerk

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for providing financial and administrative assistance in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations.

Job Duties:

-Accurate inputting and processing of vendor invoice across multiple companies
-Managing vendor and company relations via phone and email.
-Preparing and creating weekly check run.
-Matching statements and resolving invoice issues and inquires.
-Managing intercompany services and payment.
-Depositing customer checks into the bank.
-Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
-Assist with other projects as needed

Requirements:

-Must have strong work ethics
-Must be well organized and a self-starter
-Must be able to follow standard filing procedures
-Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
-Possess strong organizational and time management skills
-Strong problem solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
-Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
-Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner

Education/Experience:

-High school diploma or GED certificate.
-Minimum 2 years•experience in accounts payable.
-Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
-Fluency in oral and written English.
