Job Description

We are seeking a 2nd Shift Glazer for a position in Export, PA.
Hour for the position at 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM.
A person in this role will perform manual labor on a window production line, install insulated glass units into vinyl window frames, apply two-sided tape or silicone to window frames to seal the glass into the frame.

Job Duties:
- Use work order information to install insulated glass into vinyl window frames.
- Operate hand assist glazing table to apply silicone to frames.
- Apply two-sided tape and hand guns silicone to window frames.
- Use setting blocks, installs insulated glass units into frame and installs glazing bead to secure glass.
- Drill, screw, and fasten other components. Trim glazing bead when required.
- Responsible for Quality Control. Make adjustments as necessary to produce product within specification. Reject product outside of specification.
- Work within Work Instruction and Control Plan guidelines.
- Follow job safety guidelines.
- Document Quality Control and Worksheet information.
- Perform final inspection on completed frames and punch orders into system.
- Scan work orders and apply labels on certified product.
- Communicate with operators from other shifts and departments.
- Clean and maintain work area.
- Follow guidelines on the operation and preventive maintenance of glazing machine.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Assist operators in other areas.
- Work in other departments.
- Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
- Order materials when needed.
- Notify Supervisor for replacement tools or equipment.
- Participate in Continuous Quality improvements by assessing procedures, processes, and practices to promote change.

  Job Requirements  

Job Requirements:
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and lifting glass.
- Demonstrated skills in the use of and ability to read a tape measure.
- Conversion of fractions and decimals.
